On March 15th, the compassionate members of Lauderhill Seventh-Day Adventist Church, along with their families, brought hope, love, and joy to the seniors at Active Senior Living and Fort Lauderdale Health and Rehab. With open hearts and creative hands, they spent the day making beautiful wreaths with the residents—each one a symbol of God’s never-ending love and a reminder that no one is ever truly alone.
But the love didn’t stop there. The volunteers also uplifted the seniors with heartfelt songs and a Bible-based skit that brought laughter, inspiration, and spiritual connection to all who watched. The rooms were filled with smiles, music, and a deep sense of community. Residents were visibly moved—not just by the activities, but by the time, presence, and genuine care each volunteer shared.
These simple yet powerful acts of kindness remind us how deeply meaningful personal connection can be, especially for those who often feel forgotten. Moments like these are at the heart of what Heart2Heart is all about—restoring dignity, joy, and hope to isolated seniors through love in action.
